jungle tracks, 2005-2007
ok, the original jungle track here features some twin peaks bassline action, samples from the series of the same name.

soon after, i found out about mtldnb's jungle contest and composed this. someone said it sounded like squarepusher, but i disagree.

captain barkey - amount a grand vocal sample. sort of clumsy timing. cheese and peace girl.

more recent material includes the following, a valiant effort to return to the stale old jungle cliches.
http://grep-fu.net/whus/hammersleeve-rrr.mp3
a wicked hyped up super rave beat with charming high-frequency quirks.
http://grep-fu.net/whus/DNB_3.mp3
and, here's a .ZIP archive of that track in FLStudio 7 format
http://grep-fu.net/whus/DNB_3.zip
luckily, sometimes i dont randomly name files
http://grep-fu.net/whus/meatsock-inthejungle.mp3
pretty sparse, just a drumtrack.
here's one featuring samples from the first jazz album i ever heard, herbie mann's memphis underground. composed on illegal software, at the time. not much of a soundstage on this one either, just a bunch of chrome.
http://grep-fu.net/apacheorleans-prelim.mp3
the 9 minute ripped-off fugue re-edit. longest sequence i ever composed back then, just because the source material was so plentiful.
http://grep-fu.net/fuguefordrums.mp3
it's getting kinda hectic remix. inspired by HOE etc.
http://grep-fu.net/rcf/hectic.mp3
in conclusion, here's a http://grep-fu.net/sandwich.mp3 - the staple food of electronic music, long digressive random patterns.
